YELLOW FEVER VACCINATION

Those nationals that have had a layover or resided in the following countries will need to carry and present an ¨International Yellow Fever Vaccination Certification¨ in order to enter Costa Rica

Africa:

• Angola
• Benin
• Burkina Faso
• Cameroon
• Democratic Republic of Congo
• Gabon
• Gambia
• Ghana
• Guinea
• Liberia
• Nigeria
• Sierra Leona
• Sudan

Americas:

• Bolivia
• Venezuela
• Brazil
• Peru
• Ecuador 
• Colombia (With the exceptions of the Island Departments of San Andres, Providencia and Santa Catalina.)

The International Yellow Fever Vaccination Certification will only be vaild 10 days after vaccination with a validity of 10 years.  Each person will be responsible to maintain their certification in adequate and legible condition.
